Strive secures Investment
Jonathon Coxon and Alex Elliott are well known in the recruitment landscape for founding, developing and then selling the number one social work recruitment and outsourcing agency in the UK, Liquid Personnel.
Liquid was established in 2006 with just £3,000 seed capital and was sold in 2016 to the Independent Clinical Services group. In the year of sale, the company had 140 heads - achieving £101m revenue and £11m NFI.
This dynamic duo have now turned their hand to investing in start-up and early stage recruitment businesses, under their new business, Rise Recruitment Ventures.
Manchester based Strive Sales is their first investment, and the company was established by leading recruitment professionals, Harrison Scott and Adam Richardson.
Both Harrison and Adam have had successful recruitment careers working across a range of markets including healthcare, IT and now software sales. The company have big growth plans, including opening a US office in 2021.
Adam Richardson advised:
“What appealed to us about Jonathon and Alex investing, was not just the financial support given to help us accelerate our growth plans; but also the ‘hands-on’ approach that they bring – they are far from silent partners, and their support, ideas and experience are allowing us to grow and expand much quicker than we could have done on our own.
