Why do people leave their roles?

Skills I have acquired over a very long career. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let my daughter go now that'll be the end of it. Liam Neeson knew he had a particular set of skills – and luckily for his daughter, and us the viewing public, over a series of ‘Taken’ films he had the opportunity to use them.

Like Liam, you might sometimes feel that you don’t have enough money for ransom payments, but as he demonstrated, sometimes your skillset - and how it is utilised - is much more valuable.

 

31% of people that leave jobs do so because of a lack of opportunity to use their skills and abilities.

 

Think about that - nearly a third of all people who leave jobs do so because they have skills and abilities that their current employer is not utilising….Now that would really make Liam mad.
